1001 discos que hay que escuchar antes de morir... en Spotify

Tengo claro que las listas "definitivas" no existen, y que cada uno de nosotros tendríamos nuestra lista particular. Me gusta repasar listas porque me ayudan a descubrir música, y hacerlo "en papel" me gusta aún más.
Página a página, deteniéndote en los comentarios, disfrutando de las fotografías, de las cubiertas de los álbumes, de la lectura de los textos de quien ha realizado el trabajo de selección, es algo increíble. Y poder acompañarlo con la escucha de lo que estás leyendo a través de Spotify... eso no tiene precio.
Como amante del Jazz, uno de mis libros de cabecera es la "The Penguin Guide to Jazz Recordings", pero me gusta la música en general y otra de mis referencias es la selección realizada por Robert Dimery en el libro "1001 discos que hay que escuchar antes de morir".
La edición que tengo es la de Grijalbo, originalmente publicado en 2005 por Cassell Illustrated para el Reino Unido e Irlanda.
El orden de lista es cronológico y nos permite hacernos una idea de la evolución de la música entre 1955 y 2005. Cada álbum tiene una ficha completa con una reseña histórica, acompañado de la carátula del álbum y su tracklist, intercalando de vez en cuando fotografías a página completa de los artistas.
He localizado una lista que tiene una edición más actualizada, con álbumes que llegan hasta 2010 y la voy a compartir con vosotros en bloques de 50 álbumes, con su enlace a Spotify si lo he encontrado.
